The Green Schools Committee are highlighting the importance of providing clean, safe, drinking water to families in the Developing World.
On Friday 6th of December they held a "Water Awareness Day" in an effort to purchase water filters for families who do not have access to clean water. Many pupils contributed 50c on that day. The water filters will be purchased from "Bóthar" at a cost of 50 euro per filter and gifted to the families for Christmas. 240 euro was raised.
Mr. Jeremy Meehan came to talk to all pupils about the work of Bothar, Davey brought two kid goats and every pupil in the school had a chance to feed them.
